2024 Summer Flag Football

Join the largest youth flag football organization in the country!

We are hosting TWO SUMMER LEAGUES this Summer of 2024! One location is hosted at Detroit Country Day Schools - Upper School. Games will be held on WEDNESDAY NIGHTS starting at 6pm, 7pm or 8pm (times subject to change) inside the Fieldhouse OR outside on the Football Stadium Turf Field! This 6-game season held on Wednesday nights is a 5 vs. 5, non-contact, recreational, co-ed format. We try to limit teams to 10-11 players to maximize playing time. This is an exceptional program for first-time players who want to learn the fundamentals of football. This is also a wonderful opportunity for players who want to continue enhancing their skills before taking the next leap into tackle football. There are no try-outs! Everyone participates!

Games will take place between 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Wednesday Nights (subject to change depending on field availability and league size). Exact schedules will be created and posted 1-2 weeks prior to the season start date. Practices take place one hour prior to game time each week to ensure a convenient and fun experience for all! Schedule times can vary from week to week. Please check the program details for the specific day.
 
With registration comes your NFL Flag Reversible Jersey to keep and an NFL Flag Belt! For this Summer Program, you will pick up all of your gear at the field on the first day Wednesday, June 12th (no shipping to homes).
 
Our program relies on volunteer parents to coach our teams! Each team will have up to 3 volunteers/coaches assigned. We encourage all parents interested in volunteering to do so during the registration process. We will provide several resources along with a comprehensive coach meeting to ensure all coaches have a fun and successful season!
 
Registration will be from April 22nd, 2024 to May 29th, 2024 or until FULL. Late Registration will continue after and be dependent on open spaces left on teams with possible additional fees.
Season Start Date/First Game: June 12th
Season Expected End Date: July 24th, 2024.
Blackout Date: July 3rd, 2024 (4th of July Week/Weekend)
Makeup Date: July 31st if needed.

WALLED LAKE/HURON VALLEY DATE CHANGES: Off July 3rd and July 24th. Last week of games will be on FRIDAY July 26th and the rain date will be on August 7th. Every other week of games will be on Wednesday nights as shown above.
 
Grades: Pre-K-8th grade
Ages: 4-14
Registrations will be accepted after the deadline based on availability on teams and will be subject to up to a $10.00 late fee.
