2026 Spring Flag Football

Join the largest youth flag football organization in the country!
 
This 7-practice/6-game season held on Sundays is a 5 vs. 5, non-contact, recreational, co-ed format (Except Clarkston and Romeo Females in Flag Leagues). We try to limit teams to 8-10 players to maximize playing time. This is an exceptional program for first-time players who want to learn the fundamentals of football. This is also a wonderful opportunity for players who want to continue enhancing their skills before taking the next leap into tackle football. There are no try-outs! Everyone participates!
 
Games will take place between 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Sundays (subject to change depending on field availability and league size). Exact schedules will be created and posted 1-2 weeks before the season start date. Practices take place one hour before game time each week to ensure a convenient and fun experience for all! Schedule times can vary from week to week, and slight changes may occur to the schedule after initial posting.

The MOJO App will show your individual roster and schedules, including your meet-and-greet time, practices, and games. There is also a team chat function to stay in contact with coaches and other players on the team. Once rosters are confirmed, you will get a notification that the team pages are ready.
 
Participants will receive an NFL FLAG reversible jersey and flag belt, theirs to keep! All 32 NFL Clubs will be represented! (Refer to our sizing chart for jerseys, as the NFL FLAG styles/sizes have recently been updated)

Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd Grade divisions (Lombardi and Shula) will receive individual participation awards at the end of the season.

Madden divisions (4th through 8th grade, 9th grade for Romeo All-Girls Division) will participate in playoff games on the last day of the season - only 1st and 2nd place teams will receive awards!
 
Our program relies on volunteer parents to coach our teams! Each team will have up to 3 volunteers assigned. We encourage all parents interested in volunteering to do so during the registration process. Positions available are: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Team Manager. We will provide several resources along with a comprehensive coach meeting to ensure all coaches have a fun and successful season!

Registration will be from December 1st, 2025, through February 22nd, 2026.
***Locations are subject to reaching their capacity before 2/22/2026. After hitting capacity, participants will be placed on a waitlist.***

Season Start Date (Meet and Greet): April 12th, 2026
Season First Game: April 19th, 2026
Season Expected End Date: May 31st, 2026 (June 7th for Southgate and Canton)
Blackout Dates: May 24th, 2026 (May 31st for Southgate, May 3rd for Canton)
Makeup Date: June 17th, 2026 (It is common to use this date for weather delays and/or field conflicts) - June 14th, 2026 for Southgate and Canton

**Each league is subject to its own additional blackout dates and schedule changes. Please check the program details for your preferred league for additional information.

Grades: Pre-K-8th grade (Romeo Females in Flag Division accepts 9th Graders)
Ages: 4-14
Late registration will open after the deadline, but will be dependent on open spaces left on teams and will be subject to up to a $10.00 late fee.
 
All jerseys, flag belts, & merchandise purchased will be shipped directly to your home (Address entered during the registration process). A $12.99 shipping fee will be added to all participants' registrations.

2026 Spring Flag Football - Competitive Wyoming

WELCOME TO THE FIRST COMPETITIVE LEAGUE LOCATED IN WYOMING, MI. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST AND ONLY COMPETITIVE LEAGUE FOR NOW AND IS A COMPLETELY SEPARATE PROGRAM FROM OUR NORMAL NFL FLAG OFFERINGS.
 
This 6-practice/6-game season held on Sundays is a 5 vs. 5, non-contact, COMPETITIVE, co-ed format. We try to limit teams to 8-12 players to maximize playing time. This is a great opportunity for strongly developed players and teams to play in a more competitive atmosphere. There will not be tryouts, but there will be full teams coming from all over and free agent teams with developed players without a full team! Please read below for important information on how this league will be run!

Location: Wyoming, MI: Carl P. Bahre Football Field (3501 Hillcroft Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49548)

Games: Between 1:00 PM - 8:00 p.m. on Sundays (subject to change depending on field availability and league size). Exact schedules will be created and posted 1-2 weeks before the season start date. Practices take place one hour before game time each week to ensure a convenient and fun experience for all! Schedule times can vary from week to week, and slight changes may occur to the schedule after initial posting. NO Meet and Greet during the first week!

***If we have to cancel any divisions, teams, or players, we will transfer you to the Wyoming REC league - we may not be able to transfer to any other leagues if cancellations occur, we will try our best.


ATTENTION!! PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE SIGNING UP:
TEAM CREATION: Teams will be made up of anywhere from 8 players to 12 players (no more or less). If you are a coach and bringing a roster of kids, you MUST have at least 8 players on your roster if you do not want any Free Agents on your team. Coaches can "bring" 8-12 total players. Coaches must send us a roster and ensure everyone on their team requests them as a coach in the registration question "coach request" as well as ensure they sign up before the deadline of 2/22/26.

If Coaches/Teams bring 7 or fewer players, they can still all play together; however, you may get 1-3 Free Agents added to your team. FREE AGENTS are players who are competitive and rank highly amongst their peers in flag football, but simply don't have a coach to sign up with. For example, if a coach brings 5 players, we will add at least 3 free agents to the team to make the team have 8 or more players.

FREE AGENTS: If you are a player who is competitive and a highly achieved/developed player, sign up as a Free Agent! In the Coach Request section, please put "FREE AGENT". Free Agents can still play with friends (input friends name in buddy request section), so if 2 friends want to sign up, but they don't have a coach/team to be on, we will do our best to place the 2 Free Agents together on another team or a Free Agent team! ***If we have to cancel any divisions, teams, or players, we will transfer you to the Wyoming REC league - we may not be able to transfer to any other leagues if cancellations occur, we will try our best.

There will be a separate coaches meeting via Zoom before the season to go over expectations, rules, guidelines, policies, etc. You must attend the Zoom call IF YOU ARE A COACH! Most rules/policies will be the same as our recreational league, but there will be a few twists.

PLAYOFFS/AWARDS: SHULA (2nd/3rd Grade) and MADDEN (4th-8th Grade) divisions will compete in playoffs, Lombardi (PreK-1st Grade) will not have playoffs, but at the end of the season, we will schedule fair games with scheduling 1v2 seed, 3v4 seed, 5v6 seed, etc. Playoffs will be different than our normal league, but it will depend on how many teams we get in each division. In the example that we have 6 teams in one division, the playoffs will be 1 & 2 seed will get a bye, and then matchups will be 3v6 seed and 4v5 seed, single elimination. If we have more or less than 6 teams, the playoffs will be different, but everyone will be a part of them in those two divisions! AWARDS will only be given out for the CHAMPIONS of Shula and Madden - Players and Coaches of the championship team will get Rings! Lombardi will get Participation Medals! Any other team will not receive any medals if they don't win their playoffs.

DIVISION/GRADE/AGE BREAKDOWN: Divisions will be broken down as such (DIVISION BREAKDOWNS MAY CHANGE OR BE COMBINED BASED ON HOW MANY TEAMS WE GET): Lombardi PreK/K/1st Grade together - Shula 2nd Grade Separate - Shula 3rd Grade Separate - Madden 4th Grade Separate - Madden 5th Grade Separate - Madden 6th Grade Separate - Madden 7th/8th Grade together! AGAIN, THESE MAY NOT BE THE FINAL DIVISION BREAKDOWNS!

TOUCHDOWN FOR TOTS

2026 Spring Touchdown for Tots

Touchdowns For Tots Program Is Here!

Join the largest youth flag football organization in the country! This is an excellent program before making the jump into our recreational league. There are no try-outs, and everyone participates! 

The Touchdown for Tots program is only available for children in Pre-Kindergarten and Young 5's (ages 4-5). We recommend all first-year players who are ages 4 & 5 to choose this option instead of the regular league. 

* The program consists of a 6-week season with a 1-hour session each week.
* Each session will focus on different skills and drills to teach the participants the fundamentals of football, and in the later weeks, work into some scrimmages against the other Tots groups in the league. 
* The program will be instructed by volunteer coaches.
* Participants will all receive a Touchdown for Tots participation t-shirt, a flag belt, and an end-of-season award, which is included in the registration cost.

Our program relies on volunteer parents to coach our teams! Each team will have up to 3 volunteers assigned. We encourage all parents interested in volunteering to do so during the registration process. Positions available are: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Team Manager. We will provide several resources along with a comprehensive coach meeting to ensure all coaches have a fun and successful season!

Registration will be from December 1st, 2024, through February 23rd, 2025.
Season Start Date: April 13th, 2025

Black Out Date: April 20th, 2025 and May 25th, 2025
Makeup Date: June 8th, 2025
